Hey parents! Just want to update you on our change of plans for today. You may know that we were scheduled to go to the Mayan Ruin today. That requires us to walk a significant distance, as well as be out in the sun while climbing the ruins. Today is a SCORCHER (38, feels like 44) so we’ve adjusted the plan. We will move the Ruins to tomorrow and do cooler activities here at the base/local area. Will update more later, but wanted to ease any worried minds, as I’m sure some of you are watching the forecast and wondering.

Yikes! I’m glad you guys adjusted your plans…my ginger husband and Koen aren’t built for that kind of heat. Koen’s more used to temperature controlled gyms😂 Lots of love and prayers for you guys, and I’m still insisting you unpack and change in the shop so we make sure you’re not bringing tarantulas home😬
